Bogdan Mamonov


Biography

Born 1964. Studied at Moscow University of Polygraph. Artist, curator, art critic. Creative field: painting, installation, performance, slaid-filmes and illustrations.

Main collection: Oklahoma Modern Art Museum, private collections of Russia, Germany, Switzerland, France. Has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Russia and abroad since 1988 including "Glasnost" in Udendorf, Alten Closter Gallery, Cologne, 1989; "Young Art from USSR", Kassel, 1990; "Nostalgia", American Trade Center, Moscow, 1993. Solo exhibitions include "Conformists" (in co-operation with Alexander Brener), TV-Gallery, Moscow, 1994, and "Тop Sambo", Sakharov Museum, Moscow 1999. Since 1999 has worked collaboratively with Escape. Lives in Moscow.
