In the course of the project "ESCAPE
Travel Agency" the participants of the group with the support of
General Travells created a real travel agency, selling tours to various
destinations not only throughout Russia, but also abroad. The installation
wholly reproduced all the attributes of a travel agency - printed matter
(posters, postcards, leaflets and maps), as well as video-recordings,
advertising tour destinations.
However the content of the provided services is root and branch different
from the services provided by a conventional travel agency. The aim of
the artists who acted as tour-guides offering original tours to one of
the destinations, was to change the consciousness of the viewers. Each
of the artists offered his/her exclusive program that included joint art
actions (performances), a range of excursions and services, and as a result
of this experience each viewer should turn into an Artist.

In my opinion, the best was the result showed by the "ESCAPE Travel
Agency". Its staff - the artists Valeriy Ayzenberg, Anton Litvin,
Bogdan Mamonov and Elizaveta Morozova don't simply go to some places,
but offer their services for the organizing of unique and exclusive excursions
to New York, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Tsarskoye Selo and the village of
Matushino. If you think it to be nothing but another artistic swindle,
you are mistaken. Escape is supported by a very respectable firm Jet Travel,
an agent of the International Association of Aircarriers. For further
