Information banquet-performance "
Anatoly Osmolovsky
This action was carried out in gallery with a view of PR gathering
strength in Moscow of movement nonspectacular (invisible) art. Osmolovsky
is the initiator of this movement in Russia, having united with
the program Escape, invited 13 leading Moscow critics to a solemn
banquet with the exquisite food. The critics with mistrust this
invitation, expecting from a known radical a provocation, however
their expectations were not justified - during the supper Osmolovsky
only led a discussion about what kind of art critics would like
to see today. Only before the leaving each of visitors received
in hands an envelope with the letter - manifest addressed personally
to him and containing the latent program of the further actions.
This action reproduced a situation of a payoff, and thus got, as
usually by Osmolovsky, a political shade.
